MemesOnCronos API: Cronos Memecoin Prices, Security Scores and Listings

Quick start

Create an account (or log in) and open Settings → API keys.
Create a key. It is shown once: copy it somewhere safe.
Send it in the X-API-Key header of every request.

The base URL is https://www.memesoncronos.com/api/v1. GET / lists the endpoints and needs no key.

Authentication

Header X-API-Key: YOUR_KEY (or Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY).
Never put the key in the URL: URLs end up in logs and browser histories. A request with ?api_key= is refused.
CORS is open (Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *), so the API can be called from a browser. A key used in front-end code is visible to your visitors: use it for public data only, and revoke it if it is abused.
Keys are stored as a fingerprint (SHA-256) and never written to our logs. A lost key cannot be shown again: revoke it and create a new one.

Listed tokens, paged and sortable.

`GET /tokens/{address|slug}`

One token: price, changes, volume, liquidity, market cap, supply, holders, links, security score with its findings, and every pool. discovered = listed automatically from the chain, not reviewed yet; flagged = marked by our team as a scam, a rug or abandoned.

`GET /tokens/{address|slug}/history`

Price history as [unix_time, price_usd] points (the same curves as the token page chart), with the change over the range.

`GET /security/{address}`

Security scan of any token on Cronos, listed or not: score 0-100, findings and every check (honeypot, taxes, owner, mint, proxy, blacklist, pause…). Listed tokens come from our index; other tokens are scanned live (a few seconds, cached 10 minutes).

Latest tokens listed on MemesOnCronos, newest first.

Tokens are identified by their contract address (any case) or by their slug, as in the address of their MemesOnCronos page. Unknown parameters are refused so that a typo never goes unnoticed.

Responses

Every answer is JSON with a data object or list and a meta object (paging, generation time, attribution). Amounts are in US dollars, changes in percent, times in ISO 8601 (UTC).

Errors use the HTTP status and a body like {"error": {"code": "invalid_key", "message": "…"}}.

Limits and caching

Limits count per key. All the keys used from one IP address share 120 requests per minute (Free).
Every answer carries X-RateLimit-Limit, X-RateLimit-Remaining and X-RateLimit-Reset (Unix time). A 429 answer carries Retry-After in seconds.
Answers are cached 60 seconds (header X-Cache): the data changes at most once a minute, so polling faster brings nothing new.
Only live scans of unlisted tokens count against the scan limit; listed tokens and recent scans do not.
The Pro plan is granted by the MemesOnCronos team: write to contact@memesoncronos.com with your project and the name of your key (never the key itself).

Errors

Status	Codes	Meaning
400	`invalid_parameter, invalid_address, invalid_token, key_in_url`	A parameter is missing, unknown or out of range.
401	`missing_key, invalid_key`	No key, or a key that does not exist or was revoked.
404	`not_found, token_not_found, page_out_of_range`	Unknown endpoint, token not listed, page beyond the last one.
405	`method_not_allowed`	Only GET (and HEAD, OPTIONS) are accepted.
422	`not_a_token`	The address holds no token contract.
429	`rate_limited, daily_limit, scan_limit, scan_capacity`	A limit is reached: wait the number of seconds given by Retry-After.
503	`chain_unavailable, scan_in_progress`	The Cronos chain could not be read for a live scan, or the same token is being scanned: retry after Retry-After.

Terms of use

Attribution: show "Data by MemesOnCronos" with a link to www.memesoncronos.com wherever the data is displayed.
Do not resell the raw data, or present it as your own feed.
Stay within your limits and do not create several accounts or keys to get around them. Keys that abuse the API are revoked.
The data is provided as is, without guarantee of accuracy or availability. It is not financial advice; a security score is not a recommendation.
Version v1 stays stable: fields may be added, but none is renamed or removed without a new version. Changes are announced on this page.
