Puush Joins Forces With Obsidian: PUSH Holders Can Migrate to OBS

On September 22, 2026, the team behind Puush Da Button and puush.fun announced that the PUSH token is consolidating into OBS, the token of Obsidian. It is the next step of a merger announced six months earlier, and one of the biggest changes for the #BoomerSquad since the project started.

March 2026: Obsidian and Puush merge

On March 24, 2026, Obsidian and Puush announced a full merger into an equal partnership, with a combined leadership team. After working together for a long time, both teams concluded they were chasing the same goal: building scalable DeFi infrastructure on Cronos.

• Obsidian becomes the main brand, better suited to serious DeFi infrastructure.
• puush.fun stays puush.fun, the degen-friendly home of the meme launchpad, playgrounds and mini games.
• At the time, all tokens and NFTs were kept unchanged, to be addressed later.

September 2026: PUSH consolidates into OBS

That "later" arrived in September. The team gave three reasons for moving to a single asset:

• Following the chain: Cronos is streamlining Crypto.com listings and app exposure. PUSH liquidity is burned on Ebisu's Bay, which limits what the token can access, while a sizeable pool on VVS is needed for now.
• Two communities, one asset: puush.fun launchpad revenue now points to OBS, and holders who convert get exposure to Obsidian's existing revenue streams. The puush.fun rewards move to Obsidian's Diamond system.
• Moving across chains: the team plans to expand beyond Cronos and needs a structure that can travel quickly.

How the migration works

Holders can sell their PUSH, keep it, or join a gated 10-day migration event:

1. Deposit PUSH in the migration portal before the deadline.
2. When the event ends, claim your full OBS allocation, with no lock. All CRO collected from the deposited PUSH is used to buy OBS, shared in proportion to each deposit. The moment you deposit does not matter.

PUSH rewards are switched off at the end of the migration; unclaimed rewards roll into the final migration. On the NFT side, collections will liquidate their holdings into OBS to grow their Liquid NFT pools, the Mattress Fund is being reversed with one month to claim, and graveyard allocations are converted to OBS automatically. Before the announcement, the team converted the PUSH held by the treasury, Liquids and the DAO into OBS.

What Puush built along the way

Since December 2024, puush.fun kept shipping: a swap aggregator with a 0.1% fee (half of it set aside for the project being swapped), profiles and referral codes, weekly collab playgrounds, Retro 404 drops, self-service DeFi tools (coin locker, token and NFT vaults with up to 30 reward epochs), a developer kit, a MEXC listing for $PUUSH in September 2025 and the "Mine PUUSH, Burn PUUSH" lottery game in March 2026.
