Ryoshi Dynasties Is Back: What Changed in the Ryoshi Universe

On September 16, 2026, Ryoshi Dynasties went live again at dynasties.ryoshi.games. Ryoshi, the knife-wielding mascot of Ebisu's Bay, is also the face of the $RYOSHI meme token, and its universe changed a lot over the past year.

Ebisu's Bay acquired by WolfSwap

On May 20, 2026, Ebisu's Bay founder Schwiz announced that the marketplace had been acquired by WolfSwap. Running both the marketplace and the game alone, he no longer had the capacity to give each the attention it deserved. The marketplace and DEX stayed live during the handoff, with no action needed from users.

The same announcement split the Ryoshi assets from the marketplace: FRTN and the Ryoshi Tales NFT collections remain the core of Ryoshi Dynasties, which moved to its own home at ryoshi.games with a new Discord community. Tokens, NFTs and game roles were unchanged.

A summer of moves

• May 2026: the WolfSwap team added Ryoshi VIP NFTs as free playable characters in its Wolfage game, next to Wolfies, Space Riders, Lazy Lions and Youkies.
• June 2026: the FRTN bridge was disabled after its provider stopped supporting Cronos; Ryoshi-related topics (Ryoshi, lands, deeds) moved to the Ryoshi Discord.
• July 2026: Ryoshi Royale information appeared on the Ebisu's Bay NFT pages, and the DEX went back to Schwiz, to be run under the Ryoshi brand with a strategic partnership with WolfSwap.
• September 2026: after the Obsidian team took ownership of the EbisusBay DEX contract, Ebisu's Bay liquidity can be managed on Obsidian, with an "EB Swap" for RYOSHI and FRTN without aggregator fee.

Before the move

Ryoshi Dynasties kept evolving through 2025: custom Ryoshi avatars, the Lunar New Year "Zodiac Enlightened" series that sold out in under 15 minutes, reworked farm boosts, the end of legacy Koban farms, and a land update that entered closed beta in August 2025 after more than 200,000 lines of code. The Ryoshi with Knife community also hosted Super Bowl Squares in February 2025 with a 1 trillion $RYOSHI pot.

A word of caution

On November 3, 2026, Ebisu's Bay detected an exploit on its offers service and turned it off within 13 minutes. 252 NFTs worth about 53,000 CRO were affected, and the team announced full refunds. If you trade on Ebisu's Bay, check your approvals and follow the team's instructions.
